Currently I have an EL XR6 with a 3.45 LSD and I have a diff sitting in my yard with a minispool and 3.9 gears in it. I am tempted to put it in, but it is a hard decision.
Just wanted some opinions, I know what they are like to drive with and I know they are hard on suspension and your drive train...

they will wear your tyres out quicker, and i've heard lead to snapped or warmed drivetrain components, I wouldn't recommend it if its your daily driver. A 4.11 LSD would be nice though, although, is your car auto or manual?

You will flog out rear bushes on trailing arms quicker than I down a schooner or six of an afternoon. Along with that, its illegal, voids insurance, and is down right stupid on the street.

Its the difference between involuntary manslaughter, and manslaughter. Thats worst case scenario, but its that simple. true thay are f**k dangours even in a s**t, i had a road regested bushbomb it was a 2.6l sigma wagon with a CIG locker once i was doing a casual u turn on the main drag in the wet and around i went and as much as i tried to drive the way i wanted i just seemed to do more involntry dounuts, makes a lsd seem nice in the wet.

yes yes,,very funny,,i would like all those on this site that are members of the emergency services to stand up,,and those that have been a fire fighter for 19 years to raise their hands....
how many here can say they have pulled dead people out of smashed cars,,out from a car smashed by a truck? or seen a body burnt beyond recognition..come on lets see you.. while ever people insist on doing stupid things i will always advacate on behalf of those who do not condon this. i have seen many lives ruined by people doing stupid things. grow up people,life is short,death is final,don't be a statistic.
