why do you say it isnt a poor wheel alignment?

if ur tyer is wearing un evenly then the geometry is out, so u will have to get a wheel alignment, if its feathering then the toe is out, and if its on the outer edge then it will have to much positive toe.
saying that the camber may be out to. this would usually cause it to pull too. |

could also be incorrect tyre pressures...
also wear on outside of both tyres can be caused by hard cornering

naturally that tyre will wear a lot more, stop going around round abouts too fast.

YES! it is the angle the tyres are on when cornering harder conring puts more pressure on the outsides of the tyres = more wear

check all suspension bushes rotate tyres (front to rear) have your wheels aligned by a supsenion specialist ie. pedders.

Well i had a similar situation with my front tyres & now I got a reco rack & 2 new sumitomo's on the front so I think that has solved my problem.

If your wheel bearings are loose this can have the same effect.
The other thing is some wheel alignment places can do a crappy job. Try and get an electronic wheel alignment. If you live on the north side of Adelaide I can recommend WEB Suspension and Tyres on Main Nth East Rd Gilles plains.
