from what I've heard from other people it is not a good idea to spin the wheels and override the traction control, as in if you've spun the wheels too much that traction control turns itself off and your not able to turn it back on until you switch the car off. I think its something to do with your diff but don't quote me on that.
Just don't be lazy and hit the button, its just above your foglights button left of the steering wheel

I've just had my whole trans done with quickshift and hi-stall and all billet products goodies, hi-stall comes in very handy

No BA has had magical non switchable traction control.
If theres not a button with a little wheel spinning, you don't have it. Bounce the brake!

Or check under the dash, around where it should be 'on' the dash, as my mates had his tucked away up there, as it was a company car previously!
Shifty buggers, but at least we knew it hadn't been doing burnouts everywhere! |

The ba utes had a nonswitchable traction control...ie: it is on all the time. There is no switch like the sedans to turn it on or off. Like the guy said simple question...also gotta be able to take a joke tho....

For future reference, the traction control light will light up for a moment when you start the car if traction control is fitted, just like your ABS and airbag lights. If no tc light comes on, you don't have tc.
