have seen the rad cooler fail a few times makes a mess of the coolant! just an observation frank, but with this guy you recomend not using the radiator inbuilt cooler as they fail, but in that other blokes thread you've recomended he uses it in stead of a second external unit, there's just as much chance of it failing for him too...? |

there has been lots of radiator trans coolers fail and coolant ending up in the trans.
and just for the record there is a genuine one for BA/F. there was a stage when there was some confusion with the listing, it wasnt actually listed but was in the territory and had a falcon part number. but now its all good there is listings. And max is right they are only about $150ish depending on where you go and who you know

just finished installing it then, had to cut the lines as pirtek, enzed, burson, repco and a few tranni places said that no fittings are available.
shift quality has improved dramatically after the cabs been running for a few hours compared to what it was like with factory cooling. note to other ba owners, flush your radiator we had a 'silver' lining pealing off and coming out of the radiator, good thing we decided to give it a proper flush by removing it when we were there.
