i have got a 95 ford falcon wagon, i also have a 95 fairmont to wreck.... the wagons tranny has failed and i want to know how hard it is to swap them over?? please help asap could i do it with 500$

If your wagon is auto and they are both 6 cyiliders it'll be a straight swap.

It won't be that hard either, its 4 bolts on the drive shaft, 2 on the box cross member and a numer of them on the bellhousing. One for the shifter link and a couple of wiring plugs.
The bellhousing bolts will be the hardest ones due to accessability.

Make sure you've got some more fluid to top it up too as some will leak out when you swap them over.

Bell Housing Bolts are easy from underneath undo them first so convertor comes off with the gearbox then you dont have to worry about replacing the convertor seal if it hasnt been touched PM me if you want any instrutions
