lately i been noticing that when i put my foot to the floor in Drive the revs go up quite a bit before snapping into a lower gear, so it revs up, snaps into gear and by that time u loose most of the power. would this be something to be with transmission fluid or what?

it may be time to have the transm. serviced.autos can wear the oil out-carry wear rubbish in the oil that goes threw the filters and slips on clutches and hydraulics---------also uses more petrol!
