brought a set of Triangle tyres (they are actually round) but made by Goodyear i think, before the end of June this year

these on a 235/45 17 rim are a lot grippier than my old set and look like they will clear a lot more water too. however as soon as i had them on the car the rear felt really loose above 70kph and feels like there is lead in the back swinging behind the car.

i have put the nolathane kit in and found that the back still doesnt feel hooked up to the road. (taking the car through corners however feels fine) shocks 12 months old.

i grab the towbar and shake the rear and the axle doesnt look to be moving relitive to the car hardly at all, however the side wall of the tyre looks to be a little flimsy to fast movements.

i feel as if i needed to dodge a roo at 80 that i would run off the road. has anyone else had dramas like this?

the ED has 205/65R15 Triangle Talon GLS tyres, for $85 per tyre i reckon there pretty good.
i dont like theyre wet weather handling though.

wtf is a triangle tyre, sounds like s**t. IMO your best off sticking to known brands rather then weird a*** Chinese ripoffs.

My local tyre bloke recommended me against Triangles and
for a bit extra money I went for Federal 595's. Very happy
with these, wet or dry.

I suggest you go back to where you bought them and have a chat
with the sales person.....

triangle tyres have ben around for years, they were solely used on trucks and were great for the price, but therye passenger vechile range are just s**t, stuff all grip in the wet and too much road noise. at the end of the day you get what you pay for, the only exception being falken's youll pay through the a** for those and still end up with an unpredictable tyre. my 2c

out of interest, what did these Triangle tyres cost each? I think the EB turbo is gonna be rubber hungry.

i reckon triangle tyre's r a cheap s**t chinise tyre...could think of heaps better 4 the same price...

but yer keep them inflated to 40psi...keep and eye on the sidewalls(the start 2 split near the rubber joining.)

and yer they are made by good year...good year china.

they are good burnout tyres, they give off a lot of smoke and leave big thick black lines  lol

sorry 2 say but the truck tyres are also s**t...i've had 6 brand new drive tyres blow up on me in the past 2weeks(customer brought them in) under 70psi...coulden even imagine wat 110psi would do (max pressure rating)
