Just got my EF with 235/45-17 bridgestone B530's.
I havn't had a car with 17's before. Can anyone tell me what pressures I should run. Cheers thanks in advance.

im running between 38 and 40 psi. i just experimented with it. i was running them at 31 and they started to wear out the edges so 38 or so is a good pressure for me

I went to blow some wind in the tyres smorning and bugger me if the right front wasnt flat on the bottom. A quick dunk in the pool revealed a slow leak from a puncture. Oh well the other three are 38psi now Cheers

all tyres should have a flat bit on the bottom, if you don't they are up too high!!!!

I asked the tyre guy who fitted my tyres and he said 35 / 36 psi for mine.

40 psi when tyres are cold. Not when you've been driving around and warmed them up.
Less tyre wall flex means less friction less heat and therefore the tyre pressure wont increase as much because there is less heat. |

38 for me on 235/45/17. After i got my wheels from bob jane, they inflated to and recommended 32 psi, and the car handled like s**t and was chewing up the edges of the tyres. Anything below 36 is just a ploy to make you buy tyres more often in my experience.

I use 36 psi for my R15 tyres. Probably a bit higher than average but it is nice.

] I've heard it's atmospheric pressure that does the work.
