how low are ultra lows
are they legal in a gli (less weight)
if not how far past being legal are they

definatly not legal... go superlows less chance of being booked, altough even they are border line

If they're on anything other than 18's or biger, it will just look like you've chopped the springs, and the cops will most likely notice it too.

if you run the correct wheel/tyre combination the overall diameter shouldn't change much at all and therefor not affecting the ride height.

mine sits about 335mm htg (hub to guard) at the rear and 345mm at the front and i don't get hassled. just don't draw attention to yourself by driving like you stole it or anything.

legal height in s.a. i think is 350mm hub to guard. other states also carry on about ground clearance of 100mm or something but haven't heard of that here.

i have supers in the front, ultras in the rear on 18"s and it just passed rego as it is.......just.

A tip just dont go to get it checkes with a full tank...

from what i can gather, passing rego and being legal are 2 different things. i bought my eb from nsw complete with current roadworthy and lower than what it is now. it was 320mm htg all round. very illegal... which is what i found out when i tried to get rego changed to s.a. rego.

having roadworthy means jack.

bloddy hell super lows are heaps low im getin dobsin super lows put in my car this month in the ea gl falcon it says it should lower by 50 mm to 60mm but in that pic it looks a bit lower than that

those are kingspring superlows (KFRL-27SL) with monroe gas gt shocks
