No, they were to suit Ultra Lows. The guy on ebay that is selling the ultra lows said that shock were $200 extra taking the grand total for that setup to $445 without Camber kits

hey i got lovells super lows on mine as well. the back is 1 inch lower than the front and if not carefull i can bottom out on all kinds of s**t lol. just gota take her up everything on an angle. cheers. P.S check my gallery to see how low the superlows are.

In the world of suspension, it's not a lot at all.

I'm saving my pennies for $500 a corner when I get my suspension done, and that's just for springs/shocks and modify strut.

Start going camber/caster uprated bushes, uprated anti-roll bars etc etc and you can easily get up into the $3000+ for a really good setup.

But, and there's always a but, it sounds like you're simply after looks and not performance. If that's the case and you don't give a damn about performance, the cheaper the better! That is of course if you don't mind having to take any corner @ 10km/h to keep the wheels on the road :lol:

G'day

I totally agree i spent over $2500 doing the whole front end in my wagon. Drop spindles, king superlows, revalved and shortened koni shocks, urethane everything and 330mm slotted discs with twin piston au 2 calipers clamping up race pads (not sure which ones, but i know there hard as buggery and dont stop that well when cold but when warm there ace). I did my whole setup on trade except for the brakes.
Yeah so easily getting up there when you do everything. I cant see much point in doing springs and shocks and adjusting every thing to a different height when you have bushes that have done over 100000.

All my bushes in the fron were re-newed 10K ago when the lower control arm bushes went. I just said, go nuts and send me the bill. What a mistake that was especially with the eurothane bushes. Pricey buggers. But yes, as you said, its mainly looks I am after. If I ever end up doing things like track days then I will definatly upgrade everything else.

I got a ZOOM magazine sitting here that I think does a really nice job of 'summing up' what each suspension component does, and how it affects handling.
I think it'd be a real opener for some you guys thinking that lowered springs are the pinnacle of handling upgrades.
Might summarise it, could possibly make a good sticky.

Dont Get Me Wrong! I do know what lowering can and will do to a car. I know that lowering it to far with incorrect components can have an adverse affect on the way the car sits, and travels on the road let alone corners!!

Hey mate, i had kings superlows on kyb shortened shocks in my ea, all up it cost about $760 fitted. Combined with teh gt kit and 15's it sat at a height that both looked decent and was very practical. Speed bumps, rounded gutters etc, never scraped. However if you live where there is no gutters or speed bumps, and are only after looks then deffinately go ultra lows, or even super ultra lows? i reckon a falcon sitting on its a*** looks awesome. My ef is now sitting on my ea's old suspension, and is completely stock otherwise and looks awesome.

Im Not sure of the diff but As you said, a Falcon looks nuts when they are dummped heaps, matched with some 17's or even 18's, they look amazing. I am going to do some major reasearch into different setups and see what I can come up with

I have king superlows in the front of my El with Ultralows in the rear and it sits nice and level. I found witth superlows all round it sat 2 high in the a**.

What car, and where'd you get teh brake setup done?

Oh, and ultra lows are sometimes called super-super lows.

I'm thinking about getting some for the rear, to help even out the look (currently a whiteline superlow + works kit). But I don't want to comprimise the handling.

Supposedly most 'Ultra' or 'super-super' lows are just shortened springs with the same rate as the Superlows.

I wouldn't do it without getting shocks with a much harder rebound.
Negatives? With the stiffer rear end, power down will probably be affected, rear end will feel 'skittish' over bumps.
