The new shopping list now has a nice shiney new set of ultralows on the top of it. The ultralows are going to lower my car by 75mm. What is a good shock to get for them and how much?

Thanks guys

Do you expect to actually go over a speed hump or any sort of stick on a road with those?

In syd, $200-240 a set, over there, who knows!

KYB's are a fair sorta shock for the money.
If you have the cash the ideal would be Bilstein...
Whiteline also do revalved KYB's of their own branding, which are good.

running 235/45/17's, my front left tyre scrapes out on the guard, and you have to angle your hand up inside the front & rear guards to touch the top of the tyres!

Actually, That sounds quite good. Comming from the country, we dont have curbs or speed humps. are the lovells a 2" kit? The springs I was going to get were kings and I would assume that the king superlows are as low as the lovells.

my car sits lower than king superlows at the front, and about the same at the rears - johno (SVO XR6) has kings, and when the cars sit next to each other you can tell theres quite a difference

the springs & shocks were in when i got the car - i have the receipt at home somewhere - from memory, all up incl install, it was ~$900 or so.

but you'll need a camber kit too - mine wasn't fitted with one originally, and it cost me a perfectly good set of G-Grids :? so i got a mechanic mate to fit me a camber kit for $150

Owch!!!!! The springs were going to cost me $245 But I think I can get some super lows for about $220 and some monroe shocks for like $200. I will have to look into the camber kit.

but def go the camber kit - for handling, and to stop scrubbing the tyres :?
