hey fordmoders i'v got a ef falcon with ultra lows with shortened monroe GT sport shocks and it rides horrible the cut spring with standard shock road way better and handled better just wondering if this is normal for ultra lows

In reallity, ultra lows are a "looks" mod.....you've lost more than 1/2 the suspension travel.....and all there is left has got to be really hard or it bottoms out.
Cut springs aren't the answer either, because the rate of compression hasn't changed ( unless it is a rising rate spring), and the spring preload isn't correct anymore.

Stuffing around with suspension without a good knowledge of it, can lead to a crappy ride, crappy handling in different situations....and just plain dangerous.

What is it you want to do ?????

the other halfs AU sedan has either lows or somethin [wheels at the guard lip & ya step down...] ..... feels crappy to me & ive had lowered cars ... its almost like i prefer standard height! :shock: to how low it is :| so my EA/EB WON'T be lowered .. firmed up yes!! .. lowered NO!!

thank guys might just go superlows instead the springs are v8 springs i originaly bought them for my fairlane but due to the the stupid p-plate laws i can't drive the fairlane

oh and as for cut springs i did have cut springs it handled, road, and was lower so i am very angry with my purchase of proper springs and shocks

Have a set of SuperLows for sale if you are interested. You will still be able to use them with the same struts and shocks.

thanks any way fixed the problem needed new control arm rubbers they where rooted don't ride to bad now since i got them replaced
