Hey Guys,

I got my dad to take my car to the local mechanic workshop to replace the pinion oil seal. I asked my dad to tell them to re-mount the upper control arms in the other holes in the diff to reduce my tailshaft angle and fix the vibration.

When my dad picked it up they told him they couldn't find the 'three mounting holes' he talked about.

Now my question is, does my car have the three holes?

Btw it's an EL Falcon Futura lowered on superlows.

Thanks,
-del

EL should have.

And you can't just 'mount' them in another hole.

You need the correct arms.

EL come stock (Excluding XR's) with the 320mm upper trailing arm which is mounted to the front hole on the diff. You will need the XR upper trailing arms which are 350mm to mount to the rear holes. The centre hole is not used.

Ah k. Thanks for clearing that up. Is that for any model XR (EB-EL)? Also are there adjustable ones available?

Also how much would they cost from fraud?

Cant use EB/EF ones, well you'd have to drill the upper hole.

You need the EL XR ones, they have a hump on the back, and use the furthest hole.

Cost heaps from ford, $230 each if i recall correctly.
