Hi ford fans.
Looking to replace the Front suspension bushes In my newly aquired ED fairmont. Doubt it needs it, but its all about preventative maintenance i guess. My question is, what is the benifit other Urethane bushes over regular ones, also ive seen this on ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Ford-Falcon-EA-E ... 1|294%3A50 is $215 a good price for these? anyone with any experience with these bushes? Also what could i expect (ballpark figure) to have them fitted, and what would be the cost if i just went to a suspension shop and got them to replace all the bushes with eurathane ones? Cheers Shaved ED |

Cheers Shaved ED It appears to be a SuperPro kit....if so, they are great. I have the same kit, as well as the rear kit too.

Cheers Shaved ED Benefit of urethane is that they're firmer, and hold the suspension better in its correct position through cornering loads. Superpro in my opinion are the best compromise of comfort, stiffness and longevity (nolathane are hard and tend to shear). I have superpro through most of my vehicle and they make a big difference if you enjoy corners. The cost of the bushes is little compared to installation. I'd guess $1000 for a suspension shop to re-bush your whole car? Good luck!
