Hi , thanks for opening this - if you have an XD to XF can you do me a huge favour - I need desperately to get the size of the nut holding the pitman arm onto the steering box - I have to buy a socket today to be able to grab one tomorrow (easter friday) - anybody out there kind enough to pop out to their car with a ruler and take a measurement for me?
Huge amounts of thanks in advance !!!!

Why not buy a socket set.. you'll always need a lot of them anyway..

I think it was 1 & 5/16". They only come in 3/4" drive, so you might need an adaptor to fit 1/2" drive.

You can get upto 2"-52mm sockets in the 1/2" drives.
I have a few Sidcrome ones here at home. |
