yer iv herd its fine but u can stuff uo the fingers on the selecter

Going up gears should be fine. Look at the structure of these transmissions - all you're really doing is changing the shift point.

Going back down through the gears is likely to be harder on the clutch packs/one way clutches etc. but still, unless you're being a real prick to it there shouldnt be too many problems...

You can 'feel' when you do something these boxes dont like...

yeah same hear i do all the time just try never to drop it back 2 1st at any thing over 40km/h with no gopeadle it does not like
