Hey Guys,

I have just hooked my baby up to a diagnostic thingy to retireve any error codes. the engine ECU is fine but the Auto control unit has spat out a few codes, but I am in brisbane at the moment and do not have my books with me to reference them.

they are:

957 and
796

can anyone tell me what they are?

All the TCM codes I could find in the Factory manual are two digit codes.

796 is SSPS output check fail. Speed sensitive power steering is faulty. This will appear on Fairmonts and can be ignored on these vehicles as SSPS is only fitted on Fairmont Ghia, Fairlane Ghia and LTD. I get this code on my Fairmont and ignore it. I don't know if GT has SSPS.

I have no info I can find for a 957
