They have nothing to do with Dana Spicer, they dont use spicer components that are fitted in the ford drivelines.

Is the problem there, if you drop the auto into neutral?
Pinion angle can be changeg by upper control length... |

All that has to be done is the diff tilted forward so the angle is about 4 deg to the shaft. with coil suspension there are kits available and with leaf springs the rear of the diff is wedged to give the required pinion angle.

it does seem to quieten when it is dropped into Neutral.
the vibration is also there when different gears are selected. the vibration definately increases with more weight(passengers) in the car, and is does sound like it is coming from the rear. does anyone know where i can get the pinion angle checked/altered here in perth? how much will it cost?

So I see Whiteline offers upper trailing arms to correct the pinion angle on EF models.
Does anyone know whether those factory upper trailing arms on the EF1 are the same as on the EF2 or EF2 Ghia, or can we safely assume that the EF2 setup is revised and corrected?

I believe Whiteline have something to do with this, I remember seeing something somewhere. I think they put out a kit or something.
Look on their website or give them a ring. It's bad luck if u have a leaf spring bum tho!! |

well, I'm trying; very trying!!
Afaik, all trailing arms are the same on the E series. I stand to be corrected tho'. Ring up a Ford spares place and ask them to look @ the part numbers. |

im pretty sure that there are different locating holes on the diff to change pinion angle. and there is no problem if you have leaf springs, its actaully easier to do.

where on the diff should i look for these locating holes, if thats the case it will save me a whole heap o dollars if i stick my head under and see what i can do myself
