I've got a quote from Brakes West for steel braided brake lines.
$375 for 5 braided lines parts only or $475 for steel braided lines including fitting.

Is anyone in Perth interested in getting braided brake lines for their cars and hopefully lower the price a bit?
If you have EA-ED or AU or whatever and what to do it I'll email them for prices.

Cheers

Depends what the best price is uglybob. Obviously we want the best price we can get if we are buying a lot of it.
What do FTG sell them for Nick?

Yeah I just saw FTGs setup in their section on this site.
$280 for the set of lines. Not sure whether it includes all 5 or just 4 to each caliper.
I'll see if Brakes West can match that. Otherwise FTG would be the go. $280 inlcudes the shipping.

There is 5 lines that need to be replaced for the best setup which is included in the $380 price from Brakes West. I'm not sure if FTGs price is for 4 lines or 5.
Hopefully Nick will be able to give us some info.

You didn't mention the pr9ice Nikco, but I checked out http://fordmods.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=7888 and says $280.00 a set including freight. That's a fair bit cheaper than what you were quoted Timmeh.

How do ef/el/au get away with four lines? how do they get to the diff?

More investigation on the 4 or 5 lines is required. I emailed two brake places and both said 5 lines are required for EF/EL.
Maybe they got confused with EA-ED.

I'm not scamming anything Fuzion, those were the prices I was quoted (obviously not that good prices). Go s**t in your hands and clap.
