FG XR's don't have LSD as standard? I know Ford are trying to be more economical, but high-end cars have had it as standard since.. Well the X-series or prior..

And E-series XR's got LSD too..

I'm surprised Ford haven't included it with the FG, I've seen many threads and heard about people with B-series XR's who wanted an LSD differential.

Yeah it's a bit pricey..

So you have to buy the highest model F-series to get an LSD diff?

A mate of mine had the same Problem he has a ba s2 it didn't come with an LSD diff so he bought a bf 6t diff and it went straight in the only drama he had was the tail shaft not fitting onto the diff housing so he took it off his old diff and it worked like a charm

my xt v8 came standard with a single spinna and it drove me nuts. so i got a xr6T diff centre fitted. it went straigh in no probs and now smokes em both all day long without worries.

yeah but the v8 uses the bigger m86 diff the 6 cops the heap of s**t m78 i think the harrop center will be well worth the money rather then spending the extra for a xrt/8 diff and drive shafts it will last longer and be quieter if anything

cool. Isnt it a b**ch of a job to do on ya own.

Also in preety sure the xr6t got the bigger m86 but not compleatly sure. do u know how to identify between the two? It just has some serial numbers on the diff tag along with 3.46 LSD.

And the fg xr6t doesnt come with lsd? Shame on ford! Was it even a option.

XR6T, XR8 and FPV get LSD's. G6ET, and XR6/G6/G6E/XT cannot get an LSD.
