ok this is my EA's second gearbox (3 speed auto) and up till now its been great, but latly when i have been driving it feels like its struggling then its back to normal (struggle-normal-struggle-normal), and then just a few minutes ago i was idling in gear and it felt like it was shuddering. also when i first start it up and put it into reverse i get this big CLUNK into gear, i thought it was worn UV joints and a stuffed gearbox, but both have been replaced and i still have a clunk?

any idears?

diff seems fine, i havent had any probs with that, the only tranny cooler i have on it is the standard one from the factory, im not sure about the oil flow to the cooler lines and im not sure how to test for that aswell, as for the brakes, there old and need replacing but i dont think there dragging.

engine mounts. Ive seen broken engine mounts do exactly that on EA's. Most probably the passenger side one
