Hey guys i just finished doing a manual conversion on my mates EF xr6 on the weekend. But now when he starts it, it makes a whip sort of sound when it starts. sounds like the starter motor needs to be shimmed out or something.
I was just wondering if there is a difference in the auto and manual sandwich plate thicknesses? im sure theres no difference in starter motors between the two. just looking for any idea what it could be. Cheers
