looking at buying some parts for my car online and saw some odd info. instead of providing car details such as make, year, and variant, it has a vin. same person also says the stuff will fit a bf between the years of 2005 and 2010? didnt bf cease production in 2008? if anyone can decode the vin and let me know what car im dealing with it would be appreciated so i can check with ford that the parts will fit.

ive emailed the seller for info but had no response, so might get my mate to see if anyone is at the listed business address, and to buy it for me, but no point him going in the first place if the part wont fit.

The car is a 2006 XR6T Toxic in colour.

thanks for the link benny d. now saved in my favourites. will check with ford to ensure fitment as being 10 2006 im guessing its a bf1. you would think the seller would list all the applicable info in the first place....

Digging up an old thread but since ford Etis has been down for a while, anybody able to advise if this car was mk2, hence stronger internals? I’ve just had the matching engine to this car arrive on my doorstep. Cheers fellas

my understanding was the bumper/lights changed with the mk2. my other half has a mk1 which has same bumper/lights as my BA. hers is a 2006.
