Hi all,

Dad wants to get an fg xr6 auto and wants a 6 speed. What are the codes on the compliance plate to tell apart a 5 or 6 speed because everything in the cabin seems to look the same. Thanks.

6spd auto is A for awsome.
5spd i think is H.

you will be able to tell straight away when you look at the gear selector knob.
the 6spd have a little strip of leather on the back of them.
thhe 5spd ones look exactly like the ba 4spd auto shifter with no leather strip.

dnt the 6 speed ones have 6 speed written on the trim around the shifter
