What's the highest gear ratio that the standard xr6 lsd can go? 3.9? Just found a cheap xr6 lsd in brisbane for 300, might be cheaper getting this rather than going all out just to use 4.11

i think 4.11 is highest genuine, you might be able to get some aftermarket gear but honestly wouldnt want to go much higher otherwise ull b burning a heap of fuel. 300 is damn cheap! i asked FTG how i could make mine LSD but they said need to get a kaz centre or some s**t put in (all too hard in my books lol) i paid 450 for the one from FTG

if the ba xr6 lsd can take 4.11 without modifying the diff (aka upgrading to m86 with tailshaft etc) then I'll definitely snap this up. Either way, a 3.46 lsd will be better than my 3.08 single spinner lol

These ratio's confuse me. I had a Hx ute 202 with 391 ratio that went like the clappers to 80 then anything over that she was screaming her tits off. How do these take a 4.11 without having a top speed of 100? Just curious. Do you have to have a 6 speed or something?

Maybe has something to do with the btr 4spd having very long gears? idk mate. All I know is I've seen a stock as a rock xr6 that had 4.11 mince an ss to 100 all because it got off the line like a bullet. Though once the ss had speed it was game over as they have 2 extra cylinders and 90 odd horse power lol

im needing to replace my diff soon, its gotten to the piont of almost always a clicking or light thumping noise when reversing and sometimes when going forwards too. i have noticed though that if i drive say over 65ish constantly the niose will get worse and guessing therefore its wearing out quicker , but when its cold the noise isnt so bad or even noticeable.
