Hi guys,

What is the best pads for front and rear for a EL Falcon sedan?

Im going to use slotted rotors and was recommended Bendix Ultimate and another recemended Ferodo but no particular model.

Any help would be great

Thanks in advance

I've got DBA slotted at the front, DBA solid at the rear and Ultimates all round. No squeal, low dust.

Don't see any point in getting any thing better than solid rotors for the rear as 75% of your braking power is in the front set.

Though i do brake hard frequently driving to the city (mailnly due to knob jockys that pull out in front) and back home frequently approx 90-100km round trip the front DBA slotted rotors have become warped (shuddering a bit) so it will be a quick machine and new set of pads soon.

Got my rotors and pads installed today and bleed the lines front and rear and i have noticed a difference already.

They bite really good and pull up good.

Im gona bed them in and in a couple weeks im going to get the braided lines installed with all new Penrite brake oil and see the difference again.

I also from another forum members advice i got my mechanic to do up the bolts 80 pounds and he even said that it felt right when he done them up :D

I've got dba slotted rotors all round, bendix ultimate's all round, pbr braided lines all round & made a bracket for my booster.
I have found that the ultimate pads stop excellent but have got alot of brake dust. NO noise from my brakes.
The braided lines are a must. When i first took my car for a drive after instaling the lines i was shocked they realy work, stiffer brake pedal. I also used the pdr race brake fluid.
The bracket on the booster is a must. It stoped the flexing of the plastic booster. The over all braking of my car is excellent, very, very happy with it.
