RPM seems the way to go mate.
I got the option one as I still want it to be drivable.

Yeah do a doco for sure, I'm sure people will get benefit from it.

I have a PBR clutch in mine. I was going to get a RPM but got quoted a few prices which were several hundred more than the PBR or daiken equilavents so I just went with the cheaper one (which the clutch bloke told me was a little heavier duty than standard anyway)
I hear alot of people talking about XR6 clutches but are they really any different ? I asked for one when getting mine and the clutch supplier said they're all the same for a XR6 or normal I6.

My PBR has been pretty good slippage wise and only slipped once when I tried a really high rev launch. I reckon it'll see me down to a 14 flat quarter (did a 14.4 without any slip from it)

I have a PBR, not RPM
I think the clutch alone was 270, or 220 ? I can't remember how much it was now, $450 all up I think including labour and flywheel machine. It was over a year ago and I still had a reasonably stock engine so I didn't think I'd need anything more. At the time I was quoted $500 odd for the RPM clutch alone which was obviously a major rip off if you're getting them for $220!

As for 1/4 times, show me time slips not g-tech readouts :P
You should be able to better my time with the 3.45 diff as your ED is lighter.

meh, whatever I have to do mate. I've got the standard 3.08 diff now. and I;m just waiting for a good deal to come up for a 3.45 whole diff so I can just do a straight swap.

Ive heard nothing but bad things about RPM - cheap and nasty. Go a Daiken or Excedy (spelling). I had one put in a couple months back and it handles the 230rwkw no problems at all, no slippage. Its not brass button either, very streetable.

Hrmm, thats the first time I've heard someone say something negative about them.

I got mine put in and it was recommended by a few people. I've had no problems since. Then again, i could be surprised later but for now I'm really happy.

I used to run a centreforce clutch.. killed it very quickly.

Got a PBR 1195 now (after I saw the 1194 I laughed, and returned it)

nice firm clutch. Had it for a over 5 years now, and its only JUST starting to play up (and its not like a baby the car either)

My next clutch will be a cerametalic from Mal Wood.
