The time has come where my ef needs a new clutch VERY soon.
Which brand/model are best? I don't want something too heavy but i already have a fairly heavy one in it now. cheers.

Clutch industries (PBR) RPM clutchs are wicked. Never used one in a Falcon but driven a few other cars with em and never had a bad comment from any of my mates that I've sold them too!

Im trying a stocko AU one thursday...but excedy seem to be the gun clutch around, nice and light. I also think our site sponsors Hightek brakes have a good one on sale at the moment as well

grab your self a yella terra light weight flywheel and put an EXEDY heavy duty XR8 clutch in there.. pretty sure they are %40 over stock.
and the reduced weight of the fly wheel will see quiker acceleration |

sweet.
i got a 3.45:1 lsd now and its better off the mark, but punch second and clutch don't grip well at all. the feedback is kinda like kicking a dead cat. oh also, who said the quote in your signature tickford6??

I have a PBR in mine, it's not a heavy duty as such, but it's a little heavier than standard. When I first had it fitted it was a joke, it was so light it wasn't funny and it actually felt s**t to drive with. It was lighter than the clutch in my GFs festiva and there wasn't much difference in pedal feel between the accelerator and the clutch! That said, my previous one was totally shagged and was really heavy from a stretched cable and stuffed pedal box.
After a few days I got used to it and it wore in fairly quickly and got a little heavier. Its actually good being so light because you can change gears more quickly. At the sydney fordmods dyno day last year it has the lightest of all the manuals there (and had the most power!) It has held up fairly well too, I give it a fair bit and so far it's taken 30k from my 175rwkw motor and about 10k prior to that when the old motor had ~140rwkw. It's still fine for street driving now but lately hasn't been holding 2nd gear burnouts any more. Anyway that's my glowing review of the PBR

Ive got a Hardcore CLutch form Sunbury Brake and CLutch in my EL, It uses a Heavy duty diagphram and Ceramic pads. It is an absolute monster of a clutch, i would highly reccommend it to anyone, COmpared to they RPM heavy duty i had previously i would say pedal effort is only marginally stronger but the clamping pressure of the clutch is just unreal.

IMO Cant go past an Xtreme clutch. I cant make mine slip, the clutch is no heavier than stock, and they look pretty. Ive also seen them hold down over 400rwkw on the dyno.
website for them - http://www.xtremeclutch.com.au/
