Probably a stupid question but i've googled it and can't find the answer. mines a 1993 manual and it sure feels like a lsd from the brief drive around the paddock at work.

Look at the tag on the diff, all will be revealed! Or jack it up and see if both wheels turn the same direction.

I think only the XR6 model may have had LSD.

LSD was Factory option on ALL MODELS. Fairmont Ghias, Fairlanes, and LTD's as well as XR6's, and XR8's and GT's got it as standard, however to complicate matters further, on Ghias, Fairlanes and LTD's, you could choose NOT to have an LSD.
