I can deal with that personally, its the cops that im worried about as i am only a red p plater, i have just measured how much clearance between the centre muffler and the ground and i only have 40mm to play with and i want to drop it 70mm.

I think the problem would be something else because why doesnt everyone else have their wheels hitting the inside of the arch? What do u suppose i am scrubbing then ... seein as i don't drive on gutters when i "scrub" it is when i am just driving along roads ... as for the it is hitting the arch that is what the panel beater that i asked to do my gaurds said ... |

Ah ok well yea i will keep that in mind when i do mine and it is easy enough to tell just let it scrub for a while then take a tyre off and look for the wear marks.

lol you were originally worried about getting superlows, so now your going ultralows. That only increases clearance probs, but looks awesome tho.... |

The only reason i was worried about clearce is because of the cops because when they decide to pull me over and wave there magic wond under my car it will get stuck but now im over that and want my car as low as possible and ill see what i can do with my exhaust and with my cmaber, i am quiet worried that when i lower it the camber is going to go nuts but will face that when it comes, also i only have kinda bald tyres on the rear no the front and have 4 brnad new tyres to go on shortly anyway.

Ok everybody i have put superlows in the front (curtisy of Pete) and ultra lows in the back, sits really nice with decent clearance and NO scrubbing what so ever. Thank you very much Pete for help and showing me how to do it i appreciate heaps.
Cheers Josh P.S. I have not rolled the guards either. |
