Im looking for a set of the 35mm hub spacers so I can bolt on some BA rims to the fairlane..
Trouble is, a month ago I found heaps of sets of 4 for around $150-$200.. But now I need them I can only find pairs for $170? although I guess I could stop being a Jew and spend an extra $50, its just interesting they have gone up and the ones i was looking at arent re advertised.. Anyone know of a place who makes them, high quality of course, with high tensile studs and the hub eccentric ring (center locator)? Or if anyone has a set for sale?

If you want High Quality, you are going to pay more than $150 for 4. Go to your local wheel place and get a price on quality ones and see what you will pay.

Yeah except those ones don't have the center ring like these do...
Attachment: locators to guarantee the wheels are straight on the hub.. that set above was going for $180 or so for 4.. But now I can only find them in pairs for $170..

What your after is actually 30mm spacer as the E series is already +6mm. Add 30mm and you get +36mm, AU-FG offset.

Good point there.
So 35s will make them stick out 5mm further. Being lowered and slightly tucking tyre that might be the bit too much they need to scrape/hit the guard more.. I'll track that down..

Go and talk to Bob Jane Alice Springs.
In NSW, they will supply but not fit, due to legality of hub adaptors. Not sure about NT regs. |

I'll track that down.. I doubt they would hit. I had wheels that sat 30mm out from the average 8" wide wheel (front) and 70mm on the rear with nothing more than rolled guards.

SWC, Im not too sure myself on regs. It seems they are legal, as they are definately a "safer" method of adapting, being actually bolted to the hub rather than being shim type spacers..
A mate got a set of AU offset rims at a tyre place and they supplied him with the adapters to fit them, I called the same mob and they said they can get them but I have to sign a waiver to say they have no responsibility if anything happens. @67RCE Im only fitting BA XR6 rims, so they arent gonna be too much wider than the 15s anyway, I was more thinking the front because i somtimes clip the tyre when turning up a gutter.. I could probably just drive more carefully....
