Is there any difference between the 4 spd auto fitted to ea/eb/ed and the 4 spd auto fitted to ef/el.
If so what wiring changes need to be made.
Any info appreciated :?:

As far as I know that's EFII onwards.
Scott840 told me to get an ED trann when I was looking for one, he said they are the toughest.

EA - ED boxes had external adjusters for the front and rear bands - later versions need the adjustment to be carried out internally.

4 speed as well - BTR 91LE (EA-ED) can be done. BTR 93LE (EF/EL) has had the external adjusters removed, so you'll need to remove the oil pan to adjust the bands on these.
