alright fellas....i swapped an amp for a pair of super low king springs...though there is a bit of a problem after i checked the catalogue....according to the person who had the springs thought they were super lows and when he compared the ride height to his mates car they were the same and they both had "super" lows....i received the item and checked the part number but it comes out to be Ultra low....so now we are both confused.

just wondering how high the springs are when measured coming fresh out of the box.....for both ultra and super lows..

cheers

phong =P~

well it depends what car your comparing it with. i mean with lovells springs a superlow is only a sports low to an XR, same part, same part no. and beyond a super low for an XR is a super super low (ultra low) to an XT.

not when its on the car...when its just sitting out side...like get a ruler out and measure the height of the spring when its come out of the box...not installed yet.

The overall spring length when extended doesnt mean much. Lows in heavy duty are alot shorter than the standard superlows. Maybe the reason for both cars to be at the same ride height with different springs is a simple weight factor.

Same here with superlows but it was only a minor defect. Put lows in the rear and all ok but only just.

The cop was good as i explained my work postion and the info i recieved from King Springs regarding ride height. I emailed King Springs the next day about what happened and my phone rang 5 min later with a solution.

Ok what phongus is saying is what is the physical size of the Kings Springs ultralow and superlow, out of the box, not in the car, thus not being Under Any load. (thanks for stuff like ultralow equals defective etc, but thats his decision to make and not his question, but i think all that info is appreciated anyways)

But maybe he has decided to visually see the heights of the cars when underload etc... All up to him....

as i said before if they were ordered as superlows for say an XR6 then they will be ultra lows for a normal falcon. same part number, exact same part.

superlows are superlows they dont change the fact if they are for a std falcon or xr6... i think thats right.
lows for std falcon would be lows, and lows for a xr6 will still be lows.
superlows/std = superlows, superlows/xr6 = superlows.

phong, were the cars the exactly the same with same shocks? that could be a difference. im a bit stumped as i always thought that if they were superlows for an xr6 they were superlows from king springs. Rhysop is saying something different so i dont know, but what he says makes sense in a way.
