sometimes when I turn a corner, the front wheel opposite to the direction I turn will squeak in a similar way to brake discs squeaking (which I don't get). just wondering if anyone else has or had this problem, and what can be done about it
thanks:)

Could be worn or loose wheel bearings on the fronts, maybe even a slightly seized caliper and not releasing enough.

sorry, forgot to mention I replaced the rotors and pads yesterday in an effort to stop this problem (and my brakes were worn). I put in new bearings and they are well packed. its pretty strange, the sound is exactly the same since changing them.

have you checked you radius rod rubbers (z bar, strut bar). my ed was making the same noise and getting harder to stop changed the radius rod rubbers and it fixed the problem.
