I would definately go with the falkens. Lower profile. Wider Tyre. Better known brand.

I have Falken's on my car atm and I have gotten just over 30k on them.
I used to swear by them, but now i swear at them.. stupid unpredictable tyres that just cant grip to anything. also had them on works VY SS ute, the boss ripped them off quickly choose anything but!

I'm stoked with my falkens, though i went from nankangs to falkens, but couldnt be happier with the falkens got em for $280 each, from tyrepower. 19 inch rims, 245 wide.

I used those Maxxis tyres once and hated them.

I had Falkens and they were crap I hated them. they didn't grip good wet or dry and lasted less than 30k. The funny thing was I had dunlop sp retreads (235/50/17) and they stuck better in all conditions and lasted longer.

Even 300 for a 19 tyre is cheap s**t, especially for 19s. Reasearch the net, plenty of reviews on tyres. Buy the best you can afford.

When i was looking at tyres my choices where Falken 452 245/35/19 or Maxxis Z1's 245/35/19 or Kuhmo SPT KU31 245/35/19. I did my research on all of em and they were all talked good about.
Ended up with Pirelli Dragons 245/35/19 and havn't looked back since Well worth the extra money i spent on them! In the wet (with a normal take off) i can put my foot down and very rarely lose traction (in comparison, my old tyres, wanli, would lose traction just over 2000revs in the wet, these ones might lose traction around 4500revs), handling is great around corners and stuff all road noise that comes with sporty tyres But it all comes down what you can afford, those tyres range from $250-$450. I'd be looking at the Falkins as I like that they are lower and wider. But which is going to keep your speedo more acurate? I always thought that depended on the side wall size.
I've had Maxxis in the past (on both my bike and car) and been happw tih them. |

the rolling diametre remains pretty much the same the side wall to tread to rim size is a ration. there will be stuff all difference really. I have seen variences in speedos from tyres from the same manufacturer even in the same size.
