JMM recommend Transmax Z also, I was going to put it in last week but meh... couldn't find it. so penrite it was

Bursons stock transmax Z also,
I found it hard to get a decent size bottle of Z, most places had Transmax M but only 500ml bottles of Z - unsure why, eventually got a 4 or 5L bottle so i've got enough to do a fluid change |

I can Get the penzoil 75W80 stuff for under $30 for 2.5 litres this might be the clincher.

around 70ish IIRC is what I paid for mine for 4l also, but remember that's enough for two, so if you can find someone else interested, or if you're likely to ever need to drain and refill it...

I think you have to get the additive from Ford?
I use Castrol Transmax Z also, and I've never used that Lubrizol stuff. I usually just buy two 1L bottles from Supercheap. |

I got some from AutoPro in Canberra at $12 for two 150ml bottles and 4L of ATF III for $23.. Since it is a new box to the car and it already has 70000ks I am sticking with the official stuff for the first fill. Next time I will try transmax.
