when im taking a bend i get a whinning noise coming from the front left it sounds like...any ideas wat it could be??

does it do this when sitting still and turning the wheel? esp on full lock.

if so, check powersteering fluid levels.

filling it up could fix it, but if it keeps up, it could be the pump.

i should add that i get the noise when driving in a straight line also but not to the extent that i get wen turning

Wheel bearing would be my guess. An easy change and pretty cheap if thats what it ends up being.

Sounds like wheel bearings to me. If you do a slalom, like the skiers do down hill, and the noise gets worse as you load up the wheels, then its wheel bearings.

You didn't forget to pack them with grease did you ???

only takes 3 mins to check.

wheel off
hub dust cover off

you should be able to check on the grease in the bearing, by nocking the little center cap off.
