To my suprise yesterday I was shown a set of Whiteline shocks and they were KYBs, now i was kind of suprised n Whiteline tell us that the shocks match their springs so well tht there is no need for individually made shockers to go with their springs..
At this point i figured 'OK', if its true that no prbs, however whats the word on th street about KYB shocks? Are they good for their price and what type of ride will you get from them? Out of interest, are Whiteline springs made by someone else too?

KYB are an excellent shock, they are stiffer than Koni but they arent rebuildable like Koni are. I would thorougly recommend them to anyone upgrading their suspension.
They also have the adjustable knobs on the more expensive ones, im not sure if they are available for the falcon though.

Dan dont stuff around with crap.
if you want good stuff go for KONI or BILSTIEN ect they are the best without a doubt. kyb are a cheap shocker and will show in their handling. although they are good for a while they fade quickly. just buy koni. then you wont need to buy another shocker again. but make sure you go to a place that knows them and can recommend the right package for you. i would recommend s.c.leslie in heidelberg they do all the shocker work on my race car and they know their s**t. |

I honestly do not wish to go that far with shicks yet; koni n blists have a good reputation but i cant just throw money everywhere these days... Im still a youngn remember lol! Thanks for the contact altho heidelberg is way out of my teriroty; ill defentely have a chat with them, and you never know, they might swing me round lol.

LMAO, KYB cheap s**t, thats the best comment I've heard all day!
KYB are comparable to Koni... Koni are only adjustable off the car unless purcahsing the higher spec shock. KYB also have a higher spec shock with 9 i think adjustments. If KYB are cheap s**t, then I'll eat my car! Monroe GT are pretty soft in my opinion. If you want a plush sporty ride, keep the factory fitment on your FBT. As soon as you lower your car, the spring stiffness increases and the ride becomes firmer. If you want quality, purchase Bilstein!
