Hi Forum,
Has anybody had any dealings with 'Whiteline'? What were they like? Is the product any good? Is there 'Low' about the same as the others? Cheers

Pretty sure the shocks supplied as part of Whiteline "Packages" are KYB - which are good shocks - better than Monroe IMO tho not of course as good as Bilstein etc.
Whiteline springs are Lovells which from what I've heard and experienced are similar to King - tho I suspect not quite as hard as Kings. The bushes Whiteline use are a mixture of Nolathane and SuperPro from what I can make out. I have whiteline Adjustable sway bars and found no problems with them apart from: on the front bar kit having to do some slight grinding on the brackets which attach to the front lower control arms to get them to actually fit - and on the rear bar the D bushes supplied with the bar were 1mm too large inside diameter (went nuts for weeks trying to figure out why it was clunking). Functionally once the bars are fitted properly they work fine - mine are AOK after about 5 hard years on the car.

Whiteline don't just 'use' KYB shockers in there packages. They actually have a specially valved version of the KYB shocks made for there own use.
I imagine they would have the same arrangement with Lovells, custom rate springs.

I imagine they would have the same arrangement with Lovells, custom rate springs. This is true; I had to wait for 5 weeks for my springs to be made believe it or not, they dont use off the shelf stock. Same with the KYB shocks however they have these on hand 90% of the time due to the more demand on replacement shocks than springs so im told. The lovell springs are blue if im not mistaken, the whiteline springs are a very sprakely/glitery silver with gloss finish, very impressive actually and ive got a spare set of Super low front ones here from my 1st attempt lol, small scratch indicates they are not blue under, go figure.

how exactly are the adjustable sway bars adjustable, and what do they adjust, the stiffness of the bars?

springs & shocks (low or superlow, I went superlow)
camber/castor kit, bushes adjustable front sway bar rear sway bar adjustable rods* upper control arm brace* *optional, but IMHO worth it if you drive hard/track use.

I imagine they would have the same arrangement with Lovells, custom rate springs. I agree about the springs - note tho that I never said or inferred that their shocks were "just" KYB - ie. in a belittling way - as I said, they do in fact use KYB shocks - that they are custom valved is an interesting thing to learn and a good thing - and having USED the Whiteline package part number KYB shocks (from Whiteline) my comment is as I said: that they are very good shocks definitely better than any Monroes I've used tho not as good as Bilstein (only to be expected as they're considerably cheaper). In fact the build quality of KYB's is really excellent - they're the only shocks I've seen that have the ABS cable support bracket built in - and the front ones are the strongest looking struts I've seen yet - even thicker inner shafts than the Bilsteins. When I bought the KYB's off Whiteline I also bought their springs - both shocks and springs I bought according to the part numbers listed in the Package breakdown - the springs I got were blue and in Lovells boxes and the shockies were in KYB boxes (but that was several years ago) - so that's where I got the idea the package shocks were KYB and the springs were Lovells - as I said tho that was several years ago.

Yeah, I've got KYB branded shocks, and blue springs, no visible branding on them.
