EF has a big sub frame that is totally different to the AU one. You cant swap much over. It is possible to adapt to entire AU sub frame over but is a fair amount of work

no no in the EF ... I was thinking about brake swaps etc. I also have some brake calipers from a new BA but need the uprights etc. I may be able to get AU subframe from a stacked car I know of.

it be WAY WAY to muich woprk to put an au front subframe in an ef
the frotn subframes are totally differnt u can buy aftermarket big brake kits for e seires for a lots less $$ and time than an au suspension swap

Took me 2 weeks solid work removing relevant bits from an AU and converting the EL to accept them. This also included converting to IRS

I am running FULL AUII suspension, crossmember, engine, pcm, bcm, brakes etc. AU wheels bolt straight up no spacers or adaptor plates.
Basically have full AUII running gear in a EL. sickD wrote: hey i would love to see pics or a part list
Do what I did, buy a AU from the auctions and transfer all the bits. You will need a lot of paitence and access to some basic wedling gear

Will do. Thanks for that. Yes i do run adapters, 40mm rear for the AU rims. 10mm on the front. If i chose a different set of AU/BA 17/18's i wouldnt need the front spacers.
