You can do a U-Turn.
A smoking, flick the tail out, leave black marks U-Turn.
But a U-Turn nonetheless...

mini spools arnt that bad, i drove mine everyday for 18months and did u-turns and drove it in the rain and let my mrs drive it and had 5 people in it often and reversed while turning and not once did i break an axle, or even twist one for that matter, and before you say i didnt give it any, i raced at the drags often and went in burnout comps aswell, they are fine as long as you drive them with the respect they deserve.

just wanted to say to everyone that i went for a spin in a VP commy 5 litre with a spool. Any thoughts I ever had of getting a mini spool are now GONE.

It was easily the most jittery, uncomfortable ride I have ever been in. A round about was a nightmare and turning was really over rated. Never!

Thats because you were driving in a commy i dont think it had anything to do with the spool.
