275's fit, but not on an 8" rim legally. I've seen 315's done on a P250

All depends on offsets.
I was rolling some 10x19 inch rims for a while. Had no problems on the back at all. Only had 255s on them, though. |

B series FPV rims run 265 rears standard with a special offset. I ran them on my AU XR tray back for a while with oodles of room. Problem is, if they're still a cheap tyre they still spin, didn't take me long to shred mine

I stand corrected
Although the question wasn't if they would legally fit, only if they would fit. The legalities of someone else's car is far from my responsibility, I should've said: "That's how I purchased my fpv rims" Apologies. so why the different offset front to rear ? is it just for better clearance ?

AU3 T Series, BA mk1 and early BA 2 FPV's got a unique +28 rear offset to widen track, and make them look slightly tougher.

Ah so it was just aesthetic ? My GT rims must be from an early BA. I was also shocked to find the wheels were manufactured by enkei. Still they have 265s on them.
So all in all the different offset just makes it impossible to rotate tyres for minimal gain ? Thanks Ford lol

Not yet. I'm looking at how I can fit 305/315's under the back of the one here to maximise traction. Pretty sure a 500rwhp 5L will turn 275's easy enough.

Ive got 265's on 18x9s and they scrub slightly every now and then. But that's lowered 2" and no guard mods.
If I did some adjusting Id get 275 on it easily.

What mods can you do in the gaurds or chassis to put fatter tyres back there 265 low profiles is like driving on ice with the ute
