hey guys i brought a lsd either out of a eb xr8 or eb xr6 i think its series one. will it be a straight swap in to my ea falcon series 2?
also how do i tell what ratio the gears are? couldnt find them on the tag

Just the LSD centre or the complete diff disc to disc? I dont see why it shouldnt, pretty sure they are all the same.

If its the complete diff pull the cover off the back of the housing and have a look at the ring gear/crownwheel. It should have the ratio stamped on there somewhere along with a few other numbers etc.

i am going to change it disc to disc i will change the disc's to non abs discs though
ok cool cheers mate i thought is would have been stamped some were on the out side or the numbers on the tags or diff mean something

EB series 1 were usually 3.27:1.
You can fit the EB diff in wholus-bolus, but you'll need to make spacers to fit the rear lower arms into the diff.
I did this with puting in an EBII diff into my EA.

yes that was the main query i had with the lower control arms could i just change them with eb control arms because im not confidant in making spacers and don't trust my self lol
