hi i have a eb2 with 3.27 single spinner and want to put a xr6 diff in. i have found a whiten off el xr6 with i am able to get parts from.
what will be best for me to do change disk to disk or will it be ok to just change centers? :o :lol:

Disc to disc works on mine, previous owner of the diff had the handbrake cables modified to fit his EB, so I get to keep the EL h/brake system as well.
BenJ has a thread going with pix, search for it, about fitting an EF/EL LSD into his EB by using the housing and swapping all his EB gear to it.
No offence to Frank,I think it's always best to avoid cracking open a diff if you don't have to and with the above two ways you have a complete spare as back-up. Read Ben's thread for more.

offend me? hahahahahah you will have to try harder dude

i do agree with you though disc to disc is easier

the only reason why i suggested this way was the car he is getting the diff from was written off and as no mention of the what was damaged the axles could be bent thats all
