Hey everyone is the windsor g/box bolt pattern the same as a modular pattern or totally different ?
Just trying to sort out a drive line choice for myself

Unfortunately they are totally different. The Mod motor boxes have integral bellhousings that cannot be separated

Okay, do you know if the bell housing spacing (ie ie lenght of B/H) is the same ? longer/shorter etc . It's easy enough to make it fit if they are reasonably similar, provided the imput shaft is approx the same lenght.
I actually fitted a 4 cyl mazda 929 box up behind an old GM red motor about a lifetime ago !! LOL So doing something similar won't cause me any great dramas as long as I have idea before I start.
