it appears the nuts that adjust the clutch cable are working their way loose after a weeks time and damn near on impossible to drive after that... so atleast its not a huge problem.. just an annoying one...

Joe from CMS had a look n test of the box thismorning and has diagnosed that it feels to him that the clutch fork is not right... so looks like it will be a "box out" job coming up soon...

Have a look at the clutch fork bush/insulator, they are known to pull through to the stop pin.

this exact same thing is happening to my ef. A mecanic told me the arm on my clutch pedal is cracked and bent. when i get my head under neath the console i can just see a crack.
also when i stand outside my car i can see the clutch isn't straight. He said it would be like a $2000 job because i'll need some ford parts and a new clutch kit because i would have ruined mine from driving it with the bent clutch. And labour because he has to take the dash out and stuff. Do u think this is an acurate quote.

WOW! $2000? you could buty a whole kit for that inc installation and should come to no more than $2000 then sell off the un-needed parts...

I can only assume the re builder was snorting a bong?
I'll take a punt, worn input shaft retainer? even so, this'll cause more grief with 4th and other gears.
