Sorry to hijack, but could you get superlows or lows and keep the stock shocks in? Could be a cheaper project than first though, hmmm.

Never heard of K max, so i can not comment on price but i would stick with well known brands, that have a prooven record..

As for shocks,do you want the car to look good and be a danger to u self and others or do you want the car to look good and break and handle better than standard???? that sort of answers your question!!!!

Get the bast shocks you can afford i have koni adjustables in both my cars and would never use anything else, they are expensive but worth every cent!!!! the el got king super lows all round and the xb got king custom rear leaves and K Mac front springs also custom made....very happy with both :D

That's superlows, on stock shocks then? Do you bottom out, is the ride, weird? What are the cons of it?

dont run superlows on stock shocks, you need the short ones or you will have one very s**t and uneven ride.

well im running superlows on stock shocks :\

asked the guy at the suspension place (very well known company and reputable one) who was also a ford nut (very very nice looking eb of his was parked out front) about if i would need new shocks he said it would be fine, wouldnt have any issues bottoming out etc..

and he was right. ride is better than stock, out handles stock, havnt bottomed out or hit bumpstops...

pics in my gallery.. lovell superlows
