Hey next wednesday i am getting my car lowered. I am only getting springs put in. I own a Au3 falcon 2002 model. It is costing me $600 for
K Max custom made springs and front gaurds rolled, Thats also fitted is this a good price. I heard that k max weren't bad springs. But is there anychance that my shockies will bottom out if i hit a hard bump cause i don't want that to happen. Please help me if possible cause i will ask them to put shockies in 2 if i have to. And if so what brand shockies.

Thanks in advance

how much lower are you going? seems like a fairly decent price to me considering there supplying and fitting and rolling the gaurds (is rolling the gaurds necessary at the height your dropping ti to)?
prolly worth doing the shcokies though - you'd save on labour since they'd already be there to do the springs.

I'm assuming that the custom height is looooow, in which case like all the other guys have said, may as well do the shocks while they are out.
KYB are a good brand at a good price, and now that I know my fronts are BOGE, so are BOGE :D

BOGE shocks, revalved by Whiteline on the front.
Whiteline revalved KYB's on the rear.

i just paid cam (hightek) for my combo, superlow front, low rear (got gas), and a set of matched shocks. $495 at my door.

i had to get new shocks i bent a front strut. ouch.

from what ive been told, when you change the spoings, you have to get shocks that match, otherwise your car will get a wierd rocking effect over bumps.

basicly the lesson is suspension is what keeps you on the ground, dont go slack on sh*t that could save your life.

EDIT- just looked in your gallery, isnt your car already lowered.

good luck should look good.
