Would EBII front rotors fit an EL with ABS?
ABS cars have a wheel speed sensor mounted in the back of the rotors, but i don't know how. (I think the EBII studs are shorter, but that doesn't matter). The rotors on my EL have more waves than bondi beach and the bearings are going, and my EBII wreck has good rotors and bearings. I figure if i swap the rotors, bearings and pads, putting them all in exactly the same position on the EL, it should work, unless ABS rotors are different?

It will all go on mate but your abs wont work. You answered your own question as to why.

Okay, so i take it that means i can't transfer the wheel speed sensors to the EBII rotors?
Despite initial misgivings i actually don't mind the ABS and don't want to get rid of it.

If it has them and is non-ABS, there will be a rubber bung in the hole. From what I read it is not advisable to reuse the sensor rings on the rotors but to buy new ones.... Cheers RD

Cheers RD I'm not quite sure about what you've said. My EL has ABS and wheel speed sensors, and that is the car i want sorted, by putting in EBII rotors, etc. When you say "spindle" i take it you mean the metal linking the upper and lower balljoints and holding the stub axle? Do the wheel speed sensors screw/bolt into the rotors? If so will there be appropriate tapped holes in my EBII rotors? Sounds not from what Sloxr6 wrote.
