Just curious, would the FG suspension bolt into AU to BF, or would it be possible with a few mods?

Edit: Front suspension, not interested in rear :D

Thanks mate, do you know if the K frame looks at though you could bolt it into a AU-BF, or do it with a few mods?

I had a look and I would be amazed if you could pull it off.. the fg has a large steel subframe that is alot larger then the alloy and steel k frame in the au, bf.

Sorry to hijack thread, but rear cradle b series into fg... Are they similar enough to get away with it?

NO. FG rear cradle is NOT the same. While I worked at Thomson Ford one was sent out to a panel beater and he fitted it to a BF but none of the other arms would fit.

i was reading up on a few people that had put FG rear cradles into their BF's, but by the sound of it they were coming unstuck when it got to the alignment stage... from what i could understand, they said you could use an FG rear cradle with FG lower arms and B series parts for everything else. but then the thread sort of died... so it left me without an answer really.
I have a friend that is converting his BA XT to live axle 4 link (drag car), and was hoping to get his rear cradle for next to nothing so i could fiddle in the shed before i changed it out for my stock FG setup... but i think i may be complicating things for myself a little.

Thank you kindly Papa Smurf...
